We offer a variety of therapy programs at Southern Sky Recovery. Most people will complete detox and inpatient rehab before transitioning into our outpatient therapy programs. We offer programs in increasing levels of intensity and structure, depending upon how much support our clients need. It is even possible to step down from a more intensive program to a less intensive program as the client gains more control over their life of sobriety.
At Southern Sky Recovery, we offer outpatient detox. Outpatient detox also goes by the terms “ambulatory detox” or “at home detox”. We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your detoxification process.
This is the most intensive level of outpatient therapy offered by Southern Sky Recovery. In our Bluffton partial hospitalization program, the client typically has 4 to 6 hours of scheduled programming, five days a week. Although the client returns home each night to sleep in their own bed, this level of outpatient treatment is for those who still require substantial support and accountability. The day will be filled with therapy sessions and other accountability exercises to help the client live a life of sobriety on their own.
A step up from outpatient therapy, our intensive outpatient program provides more structure and slightly less flexibility. Clients are expected to attend scheduled therapy sessions several days a week for a few hours at a time. This continues the important work of developing coping skills and changing thoughts and behaviors to better handle triggers and temptations. Like outpatient therapy, the client still retains some flexibility to deal with life’s obligations and demands.
For those clients who are adjusting well to their new life of sobriety but still need a bit of therapeutic support or accountability, outpatient rehab in Bluffton, is the least intensive of our substance use disorder treatment programs. It affords the client flexibility to meet work, school, or family obligations, while still providing a framework for recovery.
